BallenIsles Beach Bikers Fight Against MS-

The BallenIsles Beach Bikers are at it again!

Once again they've brought the need to battle Multiple Sclerosis to the forefront by participating in The 2010 Zimmerman MS Bike Ride.

Here's an excerpt from their website:

"We've formed a team for the 2010 Zimmerman MS Bike Ride Presented by Mack Cycle and Fitness because we know that riding 150 miles is nowhere near as difficult as confronting a lifetime with multiple sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society gives us all reason to hope, though. In addition to supporting novel research projects around the globe, they also provide much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS - including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them."

 

They've already raised several thousand dollars for the cause this year, but there's always room for more-

I ran into George Wicker and a few of the other BallenIsles Beach Bikers last weekend on Jupiter Island. They were a nice group of guys and already had 40 miles in when I ran into them. They raised over $11,000 for the MS150 this year which puts them in an elite group of fundraisers. Good legs and good hearts.
