Palm Beach is starting to see quite a few of our Canadian neighbors coming down to take advantage of several factors:

•  The strength of Canadian currency - now, I'm certainly NOT happy that US money is currently at a lower value - but with Canadian values UP, this would be the time to use it.
•  We still have a strong Buyers' Market  - with over 4000 Single Family Homes, Condos and Townhomes in the Jupiter / Juno / Palm Beach Gardens area - and Sellers very ready to make deals.  The word 'Motivated' is very over-used, but that is exactly what they are.  Great deals are available in BallenIsles, PGA National, Ibis, Egret Landing and many other communities.
•  Prices have ben going down for a while, but in my opinion we are getting to the end of that trend.  People have to STOP waiting for things to 'go down just a bit more' - if you see a piece of Palm Beach real estate and and you and your family like it, you need to make an offer NOW.  Not in 4 or 5 months when the home you wanted has already been sold.

So, let's just go with a simple summary - You want a second / vacation home in Palm Beach, your money currently buys more, there is a large inventory and prices are low.  When would be a better time?
