Palm Beach Real Estate Owners - It's Time to Vote on the New Property Tax Referendum.

We're getting very close to 1/29/2008 - not only is that the date of the Presidential Preferance Primary, it is also the day when Palm Beach real estate owners can vote on the new Property Tax Referendum.

Quite a bit has been written about the changes to the taxes and and now we will finally be able to put in our 2 cents-

If you do a search on Florida Property Tax Referendum (just type that phrase into the Google search box) - you'll find a lot of information - some good some bad. I urge all of you to read as much as possible to try and get a balanced view of what could occur.

Most importantly, you have to register if you want to vote! Most people already are, but if you aren't, you're running out of time!

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IS MONDAY 12/31

If you still need to register, you need to go to the Supervisor of Elections Office at 240 South Military Trail in West Palm Beach. Be sure to bring your Driver's Licence with you or some other form of ID that shows your address.
