Leave a comment » Palm Beach Real Estate Update: PGA National Restricted Access Decision...Last week I mentioned several things that were being done at PGA National to improve what is already a fantastic Golf Club Community: Many of the changes have already been made or at least started. The only question that was left was: "Are we finally going to have restricted access?" Well, I'm happy to report that the answer is YES (and it's about time!). In October, the construction will start on the 4 new Guard Gates - the estimated time to complete the construction is roughly 60 days - they must be using that 'extra-slow drying' cement! The plan is to restrict access to PGA National to Owners ONLY between 9 PM and 6 AM. I'm hoping this turns into 24 hour ASAP - but it's a step in the right direction. Owners will be getting bar-code stickers for their cars - renters will get temporary ones. There will be a special assessment - about $70 / property I believe - but that's very little to spend for the increase in quality we will experience.
