PGA National and the 2008 Honda Classic - Ernie Els is this years Winner-

PGA National - one of the most desirable communities in Palm Beach Gardens - was once again the site of the Honda Classic.

This years winner was Ernie Els - known to fans as 'The Big Easy' due to the fact that he's one of the biggest players on the Tour, but he's sooo smooth.

This victory was special for Els because it ended a 4 year stretch where he went without a win.  Even with that drought he has had a considerable number of victories in his professional career - playing in the PGA Tour, the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour.

He finished up a total of 6 under par to win by 1 stroke over Luke Donald.  This win also helped to bring him up another notch in the World Rankings. He's now 3rd.

Someone in my office - who will remain nameless - wondered why I was writing about "some game" instead of Palm Beach Gardens real estate.

I just helped him out the door.......

One, I'm a big golf fan - I've been playing ever since highschool and I'm consistently getting worse each year - but I still love it.

Two, PGA National is one of the best communities in Palm Beach Gardens (yes, even if you don't play golf).  I currently work with both Buyers and Sellers in there and I live there myself, so if anyone wants first-hand information........

Hosting The Classic brings even more prestige to the area.

I wasn't able to get any pictures myself this year - but there are some great ones here.

Alright, back to real estate....
