Positive News About Palm Beach Real Estate Prices-

While I was getting my coffee this morning, I glanced over and saw the front page of the local bird cage liner newspaper.

Not deliberately of course, I had turned my head because I was about to sneeze.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing - right there on the FRONT page was a story about how Palm Beach County real estate prices are starting to increase.

I started to pass out, but luckily the oxygen mask popped out from above my head just in time!

Lucky for me, considering that I wasn't even on an airplane - but I digress..

It's a shame that it was such a shock, but the media in general is so EXTREMELY negative about the Real Estate Market that the least little bit of positivity is a monumental thing.

Most of you have heard me say this before regarding the newspapers:

I DO NOT want them to lie about the market-
I also DO NOT want them to sugarcoat things-

BUT - I think they are actively retarding the rebound of Real Estate by doing their best to report nothing but the worst.

They need to be more balanced - a LOT more balanced. They also need to report on specific areas and not lump all Palm Beach real estate together.

I hate to cut this short, but I just got an offer on one of my BallenIsles properties and I have to head out to Singer Island for a showing - and yes, I am bragging!

Brag away Marc! We're seeing some less than negative news up this way in my areas of NH as well. Like you, I just really want them to report the TRUTH. And to stop reporting on the 'national real estate market' which doesn't exist. Real estate is local, and local papers should report on local conditions, whatever they might be.

Short and right on target. If I had a bird I would probably buy the newspaper but since I don't I refuse to purchase something that will only tell me how horiable things are. I prefer to have a positive attitude and feel good. If at any time the print media decided to find something, anything good to report I would be an avid reader.
