So is Now the Time to Sell or Buy - and Why?

Here's another question I get asked all the time -  "Is now the time to sell or buy Palm Beach Gardens real estate?".

The answer is actually pretty simple.  It just gets complicated because our buddies in the mass media like it to be that way.  (They think it makes them look really smart - shhhh, don't let them know we figured it out.)

They like to overanalyze the hell out of everything and what does that lead to?  The classic "Paralysis by Analysis" situation.

It doesn't take an advanced degree to realize that if it's a great time to buy, then it's a rotten 'less then perfect' time to sell and vice versa.

Right now my area still has low prices and a high inventory - that makes it a good time for BUYERS. Yes, it is that simple.  These conditions put the BUYER in a powerful position.

Sellers, it's not the best time for you - but if you're selling one you're probably buying another, which evens things out..... unless you sell in a strong BUYER'S area and then buy in a strong seller's area (get it?).

So yes, right now the advantage is on the BUYER'S side - but (and that's a big butt) don't think that means you can walk over the Owner of the house that you like....
